The airport is a small airport and listed as STOLport on MAHB’s website. It was built in 1963 by Ghurkha engineers.

Long Seridan is a Kelabit settlement in Marudi division of Sarawak, Malaysia.

Long Seridan village: The airport is so small and it is located almost in the village itself. Therefore, no transportation is necessary to get to the village. However, visitors may need other forms of transportation if they want to go to other settlements around the area.
